Job Summary
Respond to consumer inquiries regarding product features, benefits, and availability while demonstrating merchandise and making recommendations. Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety by retrieving and stocking items from the sales floor or inventory locations. Perform all required cash register transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges, and connecting consumers to loyalty programs. Receive, handle, replenish, and process incoming and outgoing product flow to contribute to store profitability. Work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in a place with exposure to dust and noise
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
