Job Summary
Respond to consumer inquiries about product features, benefits, and availability while demonstrating merchandise and making recommendations. Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety by retrieving and stocking items from the sales floor or inventory locations. Process all required cash register transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program connections, efficiently and accurately. Receive, handle, and replenish incoming and outgoing product flow to contribute to store profitability. Work flexible retail schedules that may change seasonally and respond to location-specific business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools
