Job Summary
Welcome every guest with a warm greeting and provide outstanding customer service while helping them find merchandise and recommend products based on their needs. Answer questions about the park using approved National Park Service information, operate the point-of-sale system accurately for cash and credit card transactions, and restock merchandise to maintain attractive, organized displays. Keep the store clean, stocked, and inviting throughout the day, assist with opening and closing procedures, and work toward store sales goals while following company cash handling, safety, and operational procedures. Foster a positive, supportive team environment and support the Company's quality and environmental initiatives. This seasonal position runs through Mid-October at Snow Mountain, LLC in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience
