Job Summary
Ring up sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, greet customers, answer inquiries, and assist with product selection. Accept cash, credit, and debit payments while ensuring secure tendering and accurate change. Maintain a clean, organized checkout area stocked with necessary supplies and restock merchandise on shelves as needed. Address customer concerns professionally, inform shoppers about promotions and loyalty programs, and adhere to safety protocols including proper handling of hazardous materials. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and balance cash drawers daily. High school diploma or GED preferred; previous retail experience desired. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 25lbs
- Bend, stoop, and reach overhead
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with POS systems
