Job Summary
Retail Associate drives positive in-store experiences by delivering exceptional customer service, answering questions about product features and availability, making product recommendations, and executing transactions accurately. Responsibilities include suggesting suitable options to customers, maintaining visual merchandising standards, restocking merchandise from stock room or backrooms, handling cash register transactions and returns, engaging with customers to promote loyalty programs, and supporting store leadership to ensure efficient product flow and overall store profitability. The role requires physical activity (frequent movement and ability to lift up to 40 lbs), a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally, and effective communication to collaborate with the team. No specific education required beyond a high school level; HS diploma or GED preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 (or less) years of experience in retail or related role
- 16 years of age or older
- Experience with Inventory and POS systems or similar retail software tools
