Job Summary
Conduct exceptional customer service by answering product questions, making recommendations, and handling returns or exchanges at the checkout. Maintain store standards for visual merchandising and cleanliness while retrieving and stocking merchandise from sales floors or inventory locations. Process incoming and outgoing product flow to contribute to store profitability. Perform all required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately. Operate Inventory and Point of Sale (POS) systems and various retail software tools. Work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in a place with exposure to dust and noise
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools
