Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions regarding product features, benefits, and availability; engage with shoppers to understand needs and demonstrate merchandise. Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety while retrieving and stocking items from the sales floor. Perform all required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately, including processing sales, returns, exchanges, and connecting consumers to the loyalty program. Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, and replenishing incoming and outgoing product flow. Work in an active environment requiring constant movement and the ability to lift items up to 40 lbs. Availability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in a place with exposure to dust and noise
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools
