Job Summary
Respond to consumer inquiries regarding product features, benefits, and availability while making compelling recommendations. Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety by retrieving merchandise and restocking shelves. Process all required cash register transactions efficiently, including sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program connections. Manage incoming and outgoing product flow to contribute to store profitability. Perform duties in an active environment requiring physical movement and lifting items up to 40 lbs. Work flexible retail schedules that may change seasonally based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
