Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions regarding product features, benefits, and availability; engage with shoppers to understand needs and demonstrate merchandise. Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety by retrieving and stocking items from the sales floor. Perform all required cash register transactions efficiently, including sales, returns, exchanges, and connecting consumers to the loyalty program. Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing product flow. Requires flexibility to work a seasonal schedule in an active environment involving physical movement and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in a place with exposure to dust and noise
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems
- Skill operating various other retail software tools
