Retail Assistant Volunteer

Serving customers, handling cash, sorting donated goods, managing visual merchandising, and tidying the store. This 4-hour weekly half-day shift supports the Op Shop team in selling affordable pre-loved goods to fund essential health and wellbeing services. The role involves creating friendly community hubs that promote environmental sustainability through recycling. Candidates must be over 18, caring, and reliable, with an interview and criminal record check required. While retail experience is helpful, we provide training for those eager to learn these skills.
