Job Summary
Partner with the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations, including all duties during the Manager's absence. Provide coaching and training to store employees while maintaining ARC merchandising standards and adequate inventory levels. Manage customer and donor relations by resolving complaints efficiently and implementing loss prevention measures. Oversee Back Room Processing to ensure material handlers meet daily goals, safeguard cash registers and safe, and handle banking of receipts per policy. Establish and maintain safety measures consistent with ARC and governmental regulations. Handle personnel issues by issuing disciplinary warnings and coordinating evaluations with HR and District Sales Management.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- 2 years' previous Retail Management/Supervisory experience
- Ability to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions
- Valid Driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- Ability to pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts
- Ability to move product up to 50lbs
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
