Job Summary
Manage store opening and closing operations, act as manager on duty, and ensure all store processes occur as expected. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment while driving sales performance and meeting key indicators for conversion, units per transaction, and dollars per transaction. Lead a team of Brand Associates by setting expectations, goals, and developing talent, while supporting marketing events, conventions, and RoboShop business as needed. Execute visual merchandising directives, install fixtures, and manage inventory levels through regular auditing and receiving. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, adapting to a fast-paced environment to deliver positive customer and employee experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Retail industry knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to lift large boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver great customer experience
- More than 2 years of store leadership experience in retail
- High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
- Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new standardization directives
- High School Diploma
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift)
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders or step stools safely
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging items, and stocking shelves
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment that may require quick movements and multitasking
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, including stockroom and receiving areas
- Manual dexterity required to operate standard stockroom tools (e.g., box cutters)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
