Job Summary
Assistant Team Leader at Ollie’s is responsible for leading the front-end store team, driving customer service excellence, and ensuring store standards and operational procedures are met. Responsibilities include payroll/budget oversight, daily task delegation, coaching and developing Associates, coordinating hiring and onboarding, maintaining office and back-end processes, executing merchandising and price-change initiatives, conducting Operational Risk Assessments and safety meetings, and supporting the Store Leader with achieving financial and operational goals. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, teamwork, inventory and asset protection, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications include a High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of retail supervisory experience; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; strong English communication skills; ability to manage in a professional environment with confidentiality and attention to detail; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and operate a vehicle as needed.
