Job Summary
Drive total sales and service growth by partnering with management to execute selling techniques, train associates, and foster a sales-focused environment. Ensure operational efficiency through accurate merchandise processing, visual merchandising standards, and process improvements that reduce waste. Lead the team by providing guidance, coaching, and ongoing training on the business model while acting as a role model for exceptional customer service. Perform External Key Carrier duties including opening and closing responsibilities, cash handling, store balancing, and maintaining loss prevention compliance during manager absence. Work a flexible schedule covering evenings, weekends, and holidays as a leader on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs, inclusive of the ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Full-Time Assistant Manager positions must be able to perform External Key Carrier responsibilities
- External Key Carrier responsibilities include but are not limited to opening and closing responsibilities
- Must be able to consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's preferred in Business, Marketing, Retail, or related field
- 1–3 years related experience; retail, sales, customer-facing, and/or supervisory experience
- Basic computer skills; able to use job-related technology and systems
- Advanced selling skills and strong customer focus
- Proven leadership: able to lead, coach, motivate, and manage conflict
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute
- Excellent verbal and written communication; effective collaborator and team player
- Demonstrates business acumen, accountability, and drive for results; makes sound decisions
- Positive, engaging, action-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about our brand, products, services, and solutions
