Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager in hiring, training, and supervising staff while leading meetings to meet customer and donor satisfaction standards. Maintain displays, ensure cash handling follows policy, and drive the store toward exceeding budgeted financial performance. Proactively address situations, resolve issues, and prioritize tasks to deliver excellent in-store service. Work 45+ hour weeks across all seven days, managing unpacking, sorting, and displaying gently donated items in a fast-paced environment. Use computers, email, and Microsoft Office daily. Ongoing training is provided, and you may be offered transfer opportunities to other stores.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in supervision of 15 or more employees in food services, manufacturing, production or retail
- one year of supervision experience with successful completion of Goodwill assigned training
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics
- 1 year of supervisory experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, fast food, restaurants, B2B accounts, corporate/service industry or any other relevant industry
- 4+ years of military service with one or more years of supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated skills in operating personal computers
- Previous POS or sell systems
