Job Summary
As Assistant Store Manager of Community at Vuori, you partner with the General Manager to create and execute the store's community strategy, leading the planning and execution of community initiatives that connect the store to the local fitness, wellness, and lifestyle community. You will build meaningful connections between Vuori and the local active community, represent Vuori at events and in-store activities, and ensure every community touchpoint reflects the brand values and customer experience standards. You’ll lead and grow a high-performing team, oversee community programs, and collaborate with HQ to align initiatives with brand standards, driving traffic, loyalty, and long-term growth. The role emphasizes leadership in people, community engagement, event planning, inventory and product operations, and a customer-centric store culture.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in retail sales leadership
- Proven ability to manage inventory and store operations
- Experience with hiring, onboarding, and training
- Ability to plan and manage events and community initiatives
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role (lift, bend, kneel, climb, move around store)
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and SOPs
- Commitment to brand standards and values
- Ability to work 8 hour shifts, 5 days/week, including at least one weekend day
- Customer-centric mindset and relationship-building skills
