Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in leading store operations and coaching team members to maximize guest experience. Responsible for store operations in GM’s absence and developing future senior operations leaders. Key duties include supervising daily operations, ensuring best-in-class service, training and developing staff, maintaining store standards (inventory, freshness, merchandising, image), handling cash transactions accurately, assisting in hiring and recruitment activities, and contributing to employer branding efforts. Shift coverage across 6 AM–2 PM, 2 PM–10 PM, and 10 PM–6 AM with weekend availability; requires 18+ and 2+ years in retail/food service/hospitality, problem solving, and reliability. Preferred Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field and prior supervisory experience; bilingual encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- 2+ years experience in retail, food service, or hospitality
- Ability to supervise, coach, and develop team members
- Cash handling and POS proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Shift availability including weekends
- Strong communication and accountability
- Visual ability to check identification and process credit cards
- Customer service oriented
