Retail Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Supervise all aspects of store operations in the absence of the General Manager while ensuring best-in-class service is delivered to guests. Train, develop, and lead team members through daily coaching on roles, store culture, and core values. Manage inventory levels, product freshness, and rotation standards while maintaining interior and exterior image standards. Perform cash handling duties including accurate change and drawer maintenance, and assist in hiring and recruitment marketing efforts. Keep the store clean, orderly, and stocked, and guide customers with product suggestions. Reports to work on time for scheduled shifts. Weekly pay, quarterly bonus potential, and ongoing leadership development available.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- 2+ years experience in the retail, food service, or hospitality industries
- Must be able to serve guests, communicate, and handle cash transactions effectively
- Must be accountable, reliable, and punctual
- Must have sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards
- Must be able to lift/stock inventory weighing up to 50 pounds
- Weekend Availability Expected
- Overtime Availability (Optional)
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
- Prior experience in a C-Store and/or food service environment
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite of products
- Desire for a long-term career in retail services
