Retail Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Supervise all aspects of store operations in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring "best in class" service and maintaining interior, exterior, and inventory standards. Train, develop, and lead team members through daily coaching on roles and culture while assisting with hiring activities and employer branding. Perform basic math functions for accurate cash transactions, participate in stocking and marketing promotions, and serve as a retail ambassador for the Twice Daily brand. Maintain product freshness, rotate inventory, and guide customers using memorized product locations. Report to work on time for scheduled shifts, with weekend availability expected and overtime optional.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- 2+ years experience in the retail, food service, or hospitality industries
- Must be able to serve guests, communicate, and handle cash transactions effectively
- Must be accountable, reliable, and punctual
- Must have sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards
- Must be able to lift/stock inventory weighing up to 50 pounds
- Weekend Availability Expected
- Overtime Availability (Optional)
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
- Prior experience in a C-Store and/or food service environment
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite of products
- Desire for a long-term career in retail services
