Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth. Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, training, and developing associates; coaching for high performance; managing inventory, merchandising, and brand standards; ensuring health & safety compliance; and using data to create action plans. Focus on customer-first service, building long-term partnerships with business customers, and developing talent through regular feedback and performance management. You’ll operate in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills to empower the team and achieve targets.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of retail management experience
- Experience in leading, coaching, developing talent, and managing teams with a customer and sales-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with coaching, performance appraisals, and career development planning
- Experience in onboarding and training new staff
- Knowledge of health and safety, asset protection, and brand standards compliance
