Job Summary
Lead the Bluegrass retail store with organization and efficiency, filling in for the Store Manager when needed while holding employees accountable to all policies and procedures. Train, coach, and develop staff through open communication, delegate tasks with follow-up, and enforce personnel policies, labor laws, and safety standards. Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate customer service by effectively handling issues, measuring satisfaction, and executing improvement plans. Maintain product quality, store cleanliness, security, and proper cash handling and inventory systems. Contribute to hiring new employees and manage performance reviews. Work approximately 40 hours per week, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts, with rotating schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in the retail industry
- Previous experience in management
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to climb ladders
- Available approximately 40 hours per week
- Able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the store effectively, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts as needed
- Requires open availability
- Retail management: 1 year
