Job Summary
Support safety and security processes, including business continuity plans, and utilize CCTV to review video for investigations and case closure. Lead weekly inventory cycle counts, reconcile variances, and conduct daily audits to ensure policy adherence and shortage control. Manage physical security as a key holder, respond to off-hour alarms, and investigate theft incidents while documenting findings. Train current and new team members on AP processes and systems to ensure compliance. Collaborate with store management to support business needs and identify industry trends to develop asset protection strategies. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of Asset Protection or Security experience
- Strong understanding of physical security including CCTV, EAS, alarms, access control, and lock and key
- Ability to work well with all levels of management within the company
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work will within a team
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
- A customer-focused mindset with a drive to provide a warm and welcoming environment
- Open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to respond to alarm company calls and be available after hours as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of Asset Protection or Security experience in a Retail store setting
