Retail Assembly Technician

Job Summary
Independent contractor role for in-store product assembly and repair of retail displays for major retailers (e.g., ACE Hardware, Cabela’s, Lowe’s, Home Depot). Build bikes, grills, furniture, and other merchandise to keep display areas showroom-ready. Work independently with some of the company’s largest clients, providing quality assembly per manufacturer instructions while adhering to retailer rules. Responsibilities include confirming build lists with retailer management, generating and submitting invoices daily, communicating with the Area Manager, maintaining a safe and clean workspace, and traveling up to ~25 miles to various store locations. Compensation is piece-based and rates scale with speed and accuracy; high energy, fast-paced individuals or teams are well-suited.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Basic hand tools, impact drill and Mechanical aptitude
- Internet access via a smart phone or mobile device
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel within 25 miles of your location
- Capable of working on your feet for extended periods of time
- Kneel, bend, twist and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
