Job Summary
Assist customers in the retail store, process admissions to the Farnsworth Art Museum, and actively promote membership and store sales. Answer visitor questions, resolve concerns, and operate the point of sale computer/register while reconciling end-of-day receipts. This role supports both the retail store and admissions desk to provide an excellent visitor experience. Requires basic office and computer skills, flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be focused, possess excellent communication skills, and work effectively as part of a team with diverse groups including supporters, the public, vendors, and staff.
