Job Summary

Monitor, write, and update product content on e-Commerce websites and portals while maintaining standards for content creation and new product listings. List up to 25 items daily on eBay and other platforms, research pricing, pack items for safe shipping, and manage package pickups and drop-offs with local carriers. Drive sales performance across the online store template, Amazon, and eBay by providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify gaps. Address customer issues or comments to ensure timely resolution and facilitate the logical display of merchandise and in-store marketing of the online store. Complete daily tasks by managing assignments to staff or volunteers, ensuring order fulfillment and adherence to ReStore safety standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Must answer all screener questions when they are emailed and include a resume to be considered for the position
  • Flexible Weekly schedule will be 20-30 hours a week
  • Between the hours of Tues-Sat 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory and/or pre-orders
  • Drive the sales performance of the e-commerce platform (Online store template; Amazon; E-bay)
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce platforms including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Have at least 2-years proven experience managing and maintaining an online store and other sales platforms (E-Commerce, Amazon, E-bay)
  • Ability to work independently, lead groups and develop people
  • Must pass background check including criminal records and sex offender registry prior to offer of employment
  • Must have commitment to the Habitat mission and uphold its values and ethics
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by HFH
  • Certification for forklift operation
  • CPR, AED and First Aid certification required
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience or equivalent education
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail
