Job Summary
Restorative Team Member who builds authentic, trusting relationships with K–8 students, responds to behavioral incidents with a restorative, relationship-first approach, facilitates restorative conversations and re-entry meetings, supports students in the restorative room with structured programming, partners with teachers to identify proactive supports, and collaborates with counselors and administration on student plans. Requires effective documentation of incidents and interventions, participation in morning circles and school-wide culture initiatives, and proactive, respectful communication with families. Strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, PBIS, and restorative practices, with a calm, steady presence and ability to work as part of a large, supportive team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children or youth (ages 5-14 strongly preferred)
- Genuine belief in restorative practices
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to remain calm, firm, and fair under pressure
