Job Summary
The Restorative Practices Facilitator provides on-site coaching, instruction, and restorative interventions at elementary/middle/high schools to promote positive social skills, self-management, and relational growth. Responsibilities include delivering restorative practice and SEL instruction, supporting conflict transformation, building community and equitable learning environments, and providing consultation and professional learning for staff. The role requires strong communication, collaboration across departments, data tracking on program impact, and adherence to restorative principles and trauma-responsive approaches. The position emphasizes school-wide implementation, relationship-building with students, families, and staff, and facilitating restorative dialogues, circles, and mediations. Proficiency in public speaking and written communication, along with multitasking and time-management skills, are essential. Knowledge of MTSS, SEL standards, and best practices for coaching and feedback is expected, as is a commitment to racial equity and inclusive practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social work, sociology, or related peace-building field
