Job Summary
Restorative Nursing Assistant performs restorative nursing to help residents maximize mobility under supervision of the Charge Nurse and in collaboration with the Therapy Department. Responsibilities include assisting with range of motion and strengthening exercises, ambulation/transfer support, documenting activities of daily living and progress, monitoring restorative devices, assisting with turning and positioning heavy-care residents, providing restorative feeding, and coaching CNAs in positioning and safety. Requires completing CNA program, one year CNA SNF experience, California CNA and RNA certifications, First Aid/CPR, Fire Card, COVID-19 vaccination, and is designated for Full-time AM shift. Korean speaking preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and completion of a CNA program
- One year of CNA experience in a SNF facility
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Current California RNA certification
- Current First Aid and CPR Card
- Valid Fire Card
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster shots
