Job Summary
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse. Deliver age-appropriate care addressing physical and psychological needs per the care plan, including mobility exercises, fall prevention, positioning, and activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and toileting. Obtain resident reports prior to care, document progress and behaviors, and promptly report changes in condition. Adhere to infection prevention policies, use personal protective equipment, and maintain standard precautions while utilizing the EMR accurately. Full-time day shift with 32 weekly hours and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. CNA certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be CNA certified
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- Completion of a C.NA training program
- Training if required by state
- At least 40 hours of specific training related to restorative care procedures
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
- Maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
- Valid driver's license
- Medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of this position
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
