Job Summary
Restorative Nursing Aide provides direct restorative care to residents to promote maximum function and minimize decline. Responsibilities include restorative care tasks (restorative dining, splints, ADLs, bowel/bladder management, passive and active range of motion, ambulation, transfers), encouraging participation through verbal cues and safety precautions, maintaining documentation for residents in the Restorative Program, and contributing to process improvements to achieve quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- State certification/registration as Restorative Nursing Aide
- Minimum 12 hours continuing education to maintain certification
- Minimum one year experience preferred in similar resident population
- Knowledge of Restorative Nursing principles and practices preferred
