Restorative Aide

Provide nursing restorative care to ensure residents attain or maintain physical, mental, and emotional well-being without decline. Perform Active and Passive Range of Motion, ambulate residents with appropriate equipment, and assist with splints or prostheses. Encourage residents to perform tasks independently, ensure proper body alignment and positioning, and monitor Activities of Daily Living. Evaluate and document resident progress, report adverse conditions to the Director of Nursing, and communicate findings to the nurse for supervision confirmation. Practice good body mechanics, cooperate with licensed therapists, and attend all mandatory meetings and in-services. Requires current CNA status with additional restorative care training.
