Job Summary
Restorative Aide in Lincoln, NE supports residents by carrying out restorative programs (ambulation, range of motion, feeding) under nursing/therapy supervision, documents care in EMR, monitors changes in condition, collaborates on care plans, assists with transfers/mobility/exercises, maintains safety and infection control, motivates resident participation, keeps equipment areas clean, may fill in as a Certified Nurse Aide as needed, and adheres to HIPAA/confidentiality. Demonstrates compassionate caregiving, strong communication, and meticulous documentation to support residents’ independence and prevent functional decline.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- 1-year experience of restorative care experience preferred. Training can be provided
- Good physical stamina and ability to assist with lifting/mobility
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and supportive demeanor
