Job Summary
Provides residents with routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment, care plan and as directed by supervisors. Documents care on Rehabilitation/Restorative flow sheet. Notifies restorative nurse coordinator or appropriate therapy department of any problems, referrals or reassessments needed. Reports significant change in resident’s condition or motivational level to the charge nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in Texas in good standing
- CNA License
- Completion of a restorative nurse aide training program (preferred)
- 6 months of experience in long-term care as a restorative aide (preferred)
- Restorative nursing care knowledge and skills (implied)
