Job Summary
Develop restorative plans with licensed nurses to achieve goals including exercises, transfers, bed mobility, and gait training. Provide documentation on resident responses to activities and report any functional changes or necessary modifications to the care plan. Assist in monitoring and maintaining equipment while delivering personal care for all activities of daily living. Support other CNAs in providing maintenance care and ensure proper use of safety equipment. Work in a well-lit, ventilated environment with occasional exposure to infectious waste, chemicals, and emotionally upset residents. Requires CNA certification, two years of facility experience, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Full-time day shift at $16.20 to $25.15/hour with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- CNA certification and additional training in restorative techniques
- Two years as a CNA in a long-term care facility
- Good verbal and written skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull 45 lbs
- Is willing to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
