Job Summary
Restorative Aide assists residents with follow up maintenance of rehabilitation services including mobility, personal hygiene and feeding. Requires a high school diploma/GED and Nurse Aide certification; 1-3 years nursing assistance experience. Responsibilities include providing personal care (hygiene, feeding, dressing, ambulating, transferring), maintaining clean and safe work areas, assisting with rehabilitation procedures (range of motion, assistive devices), bowel/bladder program maintenance, documentation, reporting changes, supporting activities services, safety and infection control compliance, and participating in care conferences. Emphasizes resident dignity, privacy, and adherence to Residents’ Bill of Rights; performs rehabilitative services to maintain/restore self-care abilities and conducts exercise programs. Location: Covington, GA (150 Renaissance Drive, Covington, GA 30012).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High school diploma/GED
- Satisfactory completion of an approved nurse aide training program and testing, as required by the state
- Must be in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- 1 -3 years nursing assistance experience
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully perform rehabilitation services
