Job Summary
Respond promptly to emergency situations involving water and fire damage, evaluating sites and performing activities such as water extraction, fire damage mitigation, and demolition. Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies while communicating safety hazards and job site findings to supervisors. Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including drying and site clean-up, while maintaining open communication with clients to address concerns and explain the process. Requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work occasional on-call shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Previous experience in restoration or construction is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
Desired Qualifications
- Previous handyman or construction experience
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field
- IICRC certification
