Job Summary
Respond promptly to emergency situations involving water and fire damage. Evaluate and perform restoration activities including water extraction, fire damage mitigation, equipment setup, and demolition. Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies. Communicate safety hazards, site findings, and tool requirements to supervisors while explaining the restoration process to clients. Perform cleanup tasks such as drying and site restoration. Work occasional on-call shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role supports SERVPRO's mission to restore properties "Like it never even happened®."
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- IICRC certification is a plus.
- You have previous handyman or construction experience
