Job Summary
Respond promptly to emergency situations involving water and fire damage, evaluating sites and performing restoration activities like water extraction, drying, demolition, and cleanup. Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies, while communicating safety hazards and job site findings to supervisors. Maintain open communication with clients to address concerns and explain the restoration process. This role requires a valid driver's license and willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds and working in tight spaces or at ceiling heights. Previous handyman or construction experience is preferred, with IICRC certification as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- IICRC certification is a plus.
