Job Summary

Assess damage and implement advanced water, mold, and asbestos remediation while ensuring crew and subcontractors follow proper procedures. Set up and monitor drying, deodorization, and containment systems to ensure smooth, safe operations. Coordinate emergency response efforts and mentor others in the field to bring structure and confidence to every job. Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule. Requires minimum 2 years of experience in the restoration or emergency industry, preferably within the Emergency and Contents division, along with Water Remediation Technician and Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician certifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the restoration or emergency industry, preferably within the Emergency and Contents division
  • Strong understanding of water remediation procedures consistent with the IICRC standards
  • Working knowledge of moisture reading instruments and other tools used for accurate assessment and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, mobile devices, and relevant applications
  • Effective communication skills with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities with a focus on safety and quality
  • Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification
  • Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • Fit test and other safety certifications
  • Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear
  • Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule

Desired Qualifications

  • College certification in Environmental Studies or Environmental Technician program, an asset
  • AMRT - Applied Microbial Remediation Technician certification, an asset
  • Forklift certification, an asset
  • Provincial Asbestos certification, preferred
