Job Summary
Restoration Technician I role responsible for setting up drying/restoration equipment, removing damaged materials, assisting with water extraction, demolition, and cleanup under supervision. Emphasizes teamwork, safety protocols, hands-on learning, on-call rotation, and growth within First Onsite Property Restoration in Canada. Candidates should have up to 6 months in restoration/construction, strong work ethic, basic computer skills, driver’s license, and safety certifications; WRT and forklift assets a plus. Compensation offered is CAD 20-23 per hour with overtime opportunities, with benefits and RRSP matching.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in restoration, construction, or a related field (cleaning or emergency services experience an asset)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques and equipment
- Proficient in using mobile devices and relevant applications
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Effective communication skills with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
- Valid full class driver's license and clear driver's abstract depending
- Fit test and other safety certifications
- Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification an asset
- Forklift certification is an asset
