Restoration Superintendent

Job Summary
A concrete project superintendent responsible for planning and coordinating infrastructure construction, supervising restoration and paving portions, ensuring quality work, maintaining schedule, and following budgets. Supervises concrete operations on-site, coordinates with General Contractors for sequencing, and collaborates with Operations Managers/Project Management for manpower/resource scheduling. On-site supervision of all concrete construction processes, budget adherence in manpower and material expenditures, scheduling field labor, coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining safety and company standards, tracking daily/weekly progress, and reporting time for field manpower. Requires extensive knowledge of concrete restoration/infrastructure (waterproofing, hydro-demolition, concrete coating, paving, site work), strong scheduling awareness, safety consciousness, and Spanish-speaking ability. Travel up to 100% may be required; candidates must lift objects up to 60 lbs and work in typical construction environments. Equal opportunity employer statement included.
Required Qualifications
- 10 or more years experience in commercial/industrial/civil concrete construction, on projects of 2+ million
- Previous experience as a Superintendent is a must
- Ability to effectively supervise construction employees and to accomplish work within budget and schedule
- Able to maintain positive working relationships with all construction groups - management, owners, trades and subcontractors
- Excellent communication skills
- Very strong work ethic with willingness to travel and/or relocate
- Has adequate level of Spanish speaking skills to communicate with the field labor as needed
- Regularly works on-site at construction site and exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme conditions
