Job Summary
Accurately scope and sign construction projects for residential and commercial property after disasters like fires or floods. Communicate with clients, adjusters, and project managers to define rebuild expectations and document change orders. Walk damaged sites to assess full rebuilds while building relationships with insurance professionals and business owners. Participate in the on-call rotation for evening and weekend point of contact duties. Track operational metrics and ensure projects complete within profit ranges and service level agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most
- Proficient with variety of current technology
- Sound planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Valid Driver's license and satisfactory driving record required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Must be able to stand or walk
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Previous estimating experience (ex. Xactimate)
- Industry certifications, including IICRC and Lead
