Restoration Construction Superintendent

Job Summary
Manage multiple residential construction projects by setting client expectations, overseeing subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring material delivery aligns with the project schedule. Verify that finished work quality exceeds company standards and homeowner expectations while coordinating daily communication via phone and email. Foster positive relationships with the project team, clients, and vendors, and maintain all documentation in accordance with company policies. Ensure the jobsite remains safe per OSHA requirements and Apex Restoration DKI procedures, including completing weekly vehicle inspections. This role requires managing 40+ hours per week with potential on-call availability during catastrophic events.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License & eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- No felony convictions
- Ability to enter confined spaces, climb on roofs, and lift up to 75 lbs
- Maintain professional appearance at all times
- May work 40+ hours per week
- May be on call during catastrophic events
Desired Qualifications
- Previous construction experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
- Experience with PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate a plus
- Level 1 certification in Xactimate or willingness to obtain
- Detail-oriented and follow through to completion of a project
- Project management experience, preferably in all areas of residential construction
- Excellent skills in verbal/written communication, teamwork, accuracy, conflict resolution, cost management and time management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Basic computer skills
- Foster positive relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors and vendors
- Complete weekly vehicle inspection and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Perform other responsibilities as required
