Job Summary
The Project Manager oversees all pre-construction activities for residential restoration projects, including file review with the Estimator, budgeting, material ordering, scheduling trades, lining up subcontractors, and submitting production approvals to the COO. After approval, the PM hands the file to the Superintendent and maintains primary responsibility for profit/loss on assigned projects. Builds and maintains relationships with insurance agents, adjustors, homeowners, and vendors, and ensures a safe jobsite per OSHA guidelines. Works with the Team Coordinator to collect all monies owed. Key duties include managing multiple projects, utilizing Xactimate, PSA, XactAnalysis, and Matterport, and applying cost management, scheduling, and leadership skills. The role requires experience in restoration/construction, PSA/XactAnalysis/Xactimate proficiency or willingness to obtain Level 1 Xactimate certification, strong communication and organizational abilities, and readiness to work extended hours or be on call for catastrophic events. Eligibility to work in the United States, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening are required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous construction experience required, restoration experience preferred
- Experience with PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate a plus
- Level 1 certification in Xactimate or willingness to obtain
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
- Ability to enter confined spaces, climb on roofs, and lift up to 75 lbs
- Valid Driver’s License & eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
