Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at MOD leads restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, mentors and trains new hires, and ensures guest satisfaction and smooth operations. Responsible for deployment and squad leadership, training on new programs, maintaining systems and equipment, ensuring food safety, resolving guest or squad concerns, managing cash during shifts, and inventory/orders in collaboration with the GM. Requires prior customer service/restaurant experience, mentoring ability, strong decision-making, 18+ years old, and ability to obtain food safety and/or alcohol certifications within 30 days where required. Emphasizes MOD’s culture, leadership within the squad, and ensuring a welcoming, well-run restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
- Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
- Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
- Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
- You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
- You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
- Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week. This will include peak demand hours as determined by General Manager or District Manager.
