Job Summary
Seasoned Restaurants & Signature Events Manager responsible for overseeing daily operations of hotel outlets, leading and coaching staff, managing signature events (including Magic Table), leveraging wine expertise for guest recommendations, coordinating promotions and menus with the F&B team, monitoring financials and payroll, maintaining service standards, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a Calgary-based hotel environment. Requires at least four years in F&B leadership, Marriott brand experience, ProServe certification, WSET Level 1, strong public speaking and event-hosting skills, and proficiency with MICROS Opera PMS.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum four years of experience in food & beverage leadership
- Marriott brand experience
- ProServe certified (Alberta)
- WSET Level 1 certification
- Public speaking or dramatic performance skills
- Able to lead and host signature immersive dining events such as Le Petit Chef and/or Magic Table
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities
- Experience with PMS systems, specifically MICROS Opera
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Hospitality program graduate or degree holder
