Job Summary
Prepare quality finished products like sandwiches, salads, and soups per recipe standards while operating cash registers and managing deliveries. Clean and maintain all shop areas, including dining rooms and kitchens, and restock food lines. Work multiple stations such as load, dress, and cash as directed by management. Engage customers with friendly conversation, handle complaints, and comply with health and safety standards. If 18 or older, use automatic slicers to prepare food items. Maintain personal hygiene and uniform standards in a fast-paced environment. Complete required Food Handler courses and represent Potbelly values. Work flexible shifts with a minimum of two per week.
Required Qualifications

- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Food Handler course and exam
- Must be friendly and customer service-oriented
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Must possess neat and clean hygiene
- Ability to handle a knife confidently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency
- Ability to work as a team-player
- Ability to comprehend and communicate in English via verbal and written communication
