Job Summary
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality food and beverage service and maintaining customer satisfaction across the Fairview Restaurant, Bull Durham Bar, Room Service, and Nineteen. Monitor food and beverage quality, train and coach staff, prepare schedules, and handle guest complaints while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate inventory, manage cash handling, and support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and controlling labor costs. Work seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, with flexible hours based on business demands. Requires one year of fine dining experience, strong math skills, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of restaurant experience in a fine dining restaurant
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds max. with frequent bending, lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Requires walking/standing to a significant degree
- Must be fluent in the English language to communicate effectively (reading, written and orally) with other employees, guest or vendors as needed
- Must be available for seven days a week, twenty four hours a day
- Must be able to move from accustomed shifts if business demands
- Must understand that business determines the amount of hours worked
- Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time
- Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to: Apply fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion
