Job Summary
Supervise restaurant staff to deliver optimal customer service, ensuring cleanliness, staffing, and service expectations are met. Coach employees on performance duties, maintain an orderly environment, and oversee special events including large parties and discounted happy hours. Place sales in the register system, troubleshoot POS issues, and ensure timely room service delivery while removing trays from hallways. Maintain knowledge of ABC laws and health regulations, and comply with all safety rules and PPE requirements. Work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays to reflect business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Prior experience in food and beverage or service-related industry
- Minimum six months supervisory experience
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards
- Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel, including nights, weekends and/or holidays
- Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages weighing a maximum of 30 lbs
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and perform essential functions continuously for a maximum of 8 hours
- Hearing and visual ability necessary to read and analyze reports and data
- Ability to read, listen, and communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare calculations without error
- Knowledgeable of ABC laws and Health regulations
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to take on the responsibility and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by position and duties
- Compliance with health and safety rules, regulations and procedures
