Job Summary
Restaurant Supervisor responsible for maintaining guest and staff satisfaction, assisting with day-to-day operation of the venue. Duties include conducting daily shift meetings, training and developing staff, coaching and counseling to ensure quality service, visiting tables to ensure guest satisfaction, monitoring inventory and labor controls, reporting staff issues, applying fair comping/discount practices, upholding sanitation and safety standards, assisting with opening/closing duties, and maintaining product knowledge and guest rapport. Requires 1–2 years in a high-volume restaurant, supervisory experience preferred, strong communication, teamwork, and basic computer skills; HS diploma or GED required and health/food-safety and alcohol-awareness cards obtained before first day.
Required Qualifications
- One to two years restaurant experience in a high volume Food and Beverage environment
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts
- Basic computer skills, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Health permit/food safety and Alcohol Awareness. Staff Member is required to obtain cards individually and provide proof of possession prior to first day of employment subject to local laws
